The CCGCD hired Jim Brasher as General Manager in October of 2008. Mr. Brasher was born and raised in Weimar and graduated from Weimar High School. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Geology from Texas A&M University. As part of the oil and gas industry for the previous 26 years, Mr. Brasher has worked internationally and domestically, in development, exploration and in research and as an individual contributor and in management. He is a Professional Geologist and has published numerous articles on subsurface geology. Mr. Brasher resides in Columbus with his wife, Amanda.
Kim Kansteiner Office Manager
In April of 2009, the CCGCD welcomed Kim Kansteiner as Office Manager. Kim was born in Houston and moved to Weimar in 1981 to be closer to family. She graduated from Weimar High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Business. Kim and her two children, Clay and Karlee, reside in the Borden/Osage area. Kim brings to the district over 14 years of office administration experience, in addition to 8 years banking experience.
CCGCD has been a member of the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts since 2008.
CCGCD has been a member of the Texas Ground Water Association since 2009.
